Baby Fashion Clothes

How to Dress a Crawling Baby

When your baby begins to crawl, it's important to dress her in clothes that allow her complete freedom of movement. Follow these steps to appropriately clothe your little one as she begins to explore the big world around her.

Instructions:-

1. Purchase clothing with non-slip material on the portions of the clothing that are affected by crawling, including the knees, elbows, feet bottoms and toes. This material will give your baby a little extra padding and the traction she needs when learning to crawl.

2. Dress your crawling baby in overalls, which are roomy and durable, allowing your baby plenty of freedom to move in clothing that will withstand a lot of wear and tear.

3. Ensure the clothing you purchase is made from tough fabrics, including denim and corduroy. Your crawling baby will spend a lot of his time moving around on the ground, which can damage or stain delicate fabrics.

4. Clothe your crawling baby in pants that are form-fitting and not too baggy. Baggy pants can bunch at your baby's knees, which will make it difficult for her to move around.

5. Buy pants with elasticized cuffs, which will prevent the pants from riding up when your baby crawls around.
6. Consider purchasing knee pads for your crawling baby and dress him in them to protect his knees from bumps, scrapes and bruises while he's moving around on rough surfaces.

Tips & Warnings

  • Babies learn to crawl and walk best barefoot. So, weather permitting, leave off your baby's socks and shoes while she's crawling around the house.

  • Avoid clothing your crawling little girl in dresses, which impede movement when the fabric gets stuck under her knees.

How to Dress for a Baby's Baptism

To share in the joy of a baby's baptism is a memorable experience.
This special occasion calls for dressy attire.

Instructions:-

1. Consult the parents about the formality of the event. Business-casual clothing is appropriate for most baptismal ceremonies; however, slightly dressier attire may be expected of godparents.

2. Consider slacks with a shirt and tie, if you're a man, or a sweater and sport coat. A dressier option would be a suit. Pair loafers with slacks and lace-up shoes with a suit.

3. Select a nice dress, if you're a woman, or a simple suit for a dressier option. Keep skirt length to the knee or longer; pair with low, comfortable heels.
4. Choose bold colors that complement your natural coloring. White and lighter colors may betray any of the baby's blunders on your shoulder.

5. Keep jewelry neat, as the baby may grab on to a dangling earring or long necklace.

Homemade Baby Dresses

Baby dresses require only very minimal materials to create a charming and adorable end result that you can use for your baby, give as a gift or even put away for a future grandchild. You can sew, knit or crochet a handmade baby dress, working from scratch, a commercial pattern, or free online patterns. Baby dresses can be a quick and easy project or an heirloom to be saved for generations, but in either case, a handmade baby dress is an excellent addition to any little girl's wardrobe.

Sewing Baby Dresses:-

  • One of the easiest options for a handmade baby dress uses a ready to wear base. Purchase a onesie style bodysuit, then gather a length of fabric approximately twice the diameter of the onesie. Pin the skirt into place on the onesie right sides together, then stitch down. You can also opt to use a commercial or free baby dress pattern to sew a baby dress. Easy sundress styles are ideal for babies and toddlers and can be worn with or without a shirt and leggings for year round wear. Keep all trims and buttons scaled appropriately for the small size garment. If you are making a heirloom garment, use mini piping, very delicate lace, and narrow satin ribbon.

  • A Hand Knit Baby Dress:-

  • Hand knit baby dresses are a sweet addition to any baby girl's wardrobe. You can opt for a simple jumper style dress or a more elaborate lace dress. A vintage style round yoke jumper or dress in a fine fingering weight yarn is an especially pretty choice and can be worn year round if a long sleeve tee or onesie and leggings are worn underneath in cooler temperatures. A round yoke style can also be worn for two years in many cases, used as a dress the first year, then a top the second. Keep laundering ease in mind when knitting for babies. Cotton blends work well in warm climates and superwash wool is an excellent choice in cooler ones.

  • Baby Dresses in Crochet:-

  • Crochet is a very good choice for a quick and cute baby dress. Avoid heavy yarns when crocheting for baby, and work with a slightly loose gauge to keep the fabric flowing rather than stiff. Avoid yarns that might be scratchy or itchy. You can make a jumper, a short sleeved dress or a long sleeved dress. Long sleeved crochet baby dresses are especially warm and cozy in the winter. Add a pair of tights or hand crocheted legwarmers to finish this winter look.

How to Sew a Baby Dress

Nothing is more adorable than a baby in a sweet little dress.
Whether it's a quick pinafore over a onesie or a pretty little holiday gown, baby dresses are a fun project to sew.
However, it's important to make sure they are well constructed, so that little hands don't get snagged in trimmings, and that they stand up to lots of pulling and chewing.

     Instructions:-

    1. Find out what size the baby is, if possible, compared to the averages for her age group. Keep the baby's length, weight and head size in mind when looking at the size ranges on patterns. Choose your fabric based on the usability of the garment. Gauzy, delicate fabrics are good for a fancy dress, but won't stand up to wear and tear that babies exert on clothes.

    2. Select fabrics that have either 100 percent natural fibers or a natural and polyester blend. Check to see how durable the fabric is. Fine silks and cottons are lovely for summer dresses, and breathe better than polyesters of a similar weight. This is of special concern for babies, who have delicate skin that is prone to rash, especially in the heat. Corduroy is a good selection for a fall or winter dress, while velvet is lovely for more formal cold-weather wear.

    3. Read through your pattern's directions before beginning to sew. Take out your pattern sheets and dry iron them to eliminate folds and creases. Cut out your pattern in your desired size, based on the baby's measurements.

    4. Iron your fabric and fold in half with the wrong size facing you. Pin on your pattern pieces. Trace the pattern pieces with tailor's chalk. Transfer all of the marks on the pattern pieces to your fabric, including grain lines and tabs. Cut out your pieces, including your seam allowances. Pin your pieces together in the order specified on the pattern. Baste them together, checking to make sure the construction is even.

5.Carefully sew your basted pieces together. As you are sewing, make sure that your seam allowance is consistent and that both ends of each seam are locked in place. Trim your loose threads. Add notions, such as buttons, Velcro or zippers. Make sure that all of your notions are securely stitched in place, and can handle a fair amount of pulling.

    • Infant dress pattern
    • Iron

    • Ironing board
    • Paper scissors

    • Sewing scissors

    • Sewing machine

    Fashion secrets of the Supermodels

    Skin secrets of the Supermodels

    1 CLEAN UP YOUR ACT:-
On day one at the agency, models get the skin lecture. You want a glowing complexion? Well, you've got to cleanse properly - but do right by your skin type or you'll end up with a tight, irritated face. If you've got dry skin never use hot water or tap water to wash your face (only mineral will do, darling), and if you've got oily skin avoid heavy cleansing creams and strong alcohol-based toners. Don't use an exfoliant cleanser every day as it'll scratch the hell out of your face. And no matter how much champers you drink, take off that slap at night or your skin won't regenerate properly.

2 DON'T GO BELIEVING THE HYPE:-
Sure, supermodels can afford the latest supercream (and bypass the waiting list) but they don't necessarily want it. Choosing the right cream is all about what works best on your skin. Forget the science - it simply needs to lock in moisture without looking greasy. Supers pick their basic moisturiser not by the label or the glossy poster (heck, they've seen the model minus the airbrush) but by the skin feel. The perfect one glides on easily and leaves a silky film on the skin like a fine denier stocking.

    3 DON'T OVERPROTECT YOUR SKIN:-
Models know the sun is their number one ageing enemy, but they also know there's no need to overload their skin with UV screens when they don't need them. In the summer, they use a day cream with high UVA and B to protect against wrinkling and burning (SPF alone isn't enough). But in the winter, a sun block can sometimes do more harm than good by stressing the skin with unnecessary chemicals and preventing the synthesis of vitamin D.

    4 POP PILLS:-
Those late nights and long flights take their toll on even the most famous of faces, so catwalkers treat the deeper layers of the skin with a vitamin C and zinc tablet every day. This combo boosts the skin's supporting structure and improves its ability to hold water - vital for glowing skin.

    5 FACE FACTS:-
Yes, models regularly pamper their faces with salon skin treatments - Kate Moss loves Crystal Clear microdermabrasion while Yasmin Le Bon swears by Jo Malone facials. But at-home upkeep is just as important, so the supermodels happily whip up their own all- natural 10-minute masks. Girls with dry skin mash avocado with a teaspoon of lemon juice and two teaspoons of wheatgerm, while oily supers beat up egg white and the juice of half a lemon. They cleanse thoroughly first to avoid sealing in the dirt, and lie down with their Jimmy Choos up so more oxygen goes to their head, making the mask more effective. Afterwards, it's on with the moisturiser so it can penetrate more deeply for maximum results.

    6 PAINT SMART:-
When you work with the world's top make-up artists, you get to know a few tricks of the trade. When all the light-reflective foundations on the planet aren't enough, supers brighten up their eyes by brushing a little matte pink eyeshadow under their eyes, then covering the entire eyelid with a powder slightly lighter than their skin tone. And if they're sporting a pair of bags that definitely aren't Hermes, they spread a thin layer of, er, haemorrhoid cream under the eyes to tighten everything up. No wonder those girls have piles of style.

Fashions Five steps for perfect skin

should be done atleast once or twice a month.
This one is simple, inexpensive treatment,
you can be assured of healthier, glowing skin within two or three months.

    Step1: Cleansing:-

Good cleansing removes the impurities, bacteria and dead cells that accumulate on the surface of the epidermis as well as any residue from makeup, while leaving as much of the lubricating natural oil(or sebum) as possible. A cleanser should therefore be gentle and natural. Use a non-lathering cleansing. Massage in circular movements over the face and neck. Leave on for 1-2 minutes to dissolve grime and old make-up. Then gently wipe off with cotton swabs. Rinse off with warm water. Once in a while, or on a more regular basis for those with oily skin, a clay or fruit or oat-based cleansing mask used for a deeper cleansing  action.

    Step 2: Herbal facial steam:-

Steaming removes dirt and pollution very efficiently from the skin, but it removes important natural oils as well. So, although the technique brings excellent results on an oily skin or anyone suffering from acne, most skin types must bear in mind that in the long term it has a drying effect.
Steaming should therefore be used very occasionally on a dry or aging skin (once in a month is  the maximum) and never for more than 2-3 minutes. On a oily skin, it can be done once a week, and for 5-8 minutes. For a combination skin, 2-3 minutes once a week is recommended maximum. A normal skin will benefit form an occasional steaming (every two weeks) as long as the exposure to steam is not prolonged (5 minutes maximum). It is not recommended for extremely sensitive skins.
Select  an herbal facial steam that’s best for your skin type.
Bring the dry herbs (lavender, chamomile, lemon grass, rosemary, etc.) to a boil in a large pot of water. Remove from heat source; steam for 5 minutes. A facial steam is the best possible way for deep pore cleansing, and each of the herbs used in rich in nutrients that nourish and tone the skin. Immediately after your facial steam, rinse your face with cold water.

    Step 3: Facials:-

Facials are excellent for stimulating circulation to the skin. It brings fresh blood to the skin. They promote deep pore cleansing and help heal blemishes and acne. Facials also help tone and firm the skin.
They are several kinds of facials available. You can try some homemade facial masks (clay mask, honey mask, egg mask, oats mask, fruits and vegetables mask, etc) to get a beautiful skin.

    Step 4: Tonic  astringents:-

When the facial is completely dry, rinse off with warm water. Be gentle to your skin while rinsing of the facial material. Use soft, circular motions. Massage your skin; do not scrub it. Immediately after rinsing the facial, apply an astringent preparation to tone and close the pores.

    Step 5: Moisturiser:-

Dot the skin with moisturiser and gently massage it in smooth circular movements. Try to do this slowly as it allows you to massage the skin and relax yourself. Apply vitamin E oil or, a small amount of eye cream around the eyes and gently pat it in with your finger. Staying beautiful when you can't afford cosmetics

Beat the credit crunch with home-made cosmetics

With everyone tightening their belts to wait out a slow economy, some items once considered to be essential are now being relegated to the luxury category. For some of us that even translates to our makeup, skin and hair care. However, that doesn’t mean we have to give up our natural beauty. There are plenty of ingredients commonly found in the home that can help us stay beautiful even when we can’t afford cosmetics.

Tip #1 – Make your own microderm abrasion product:-

Mix a few grains of sugar crystals in with your favorite skin cream and apply to freshly washed skin. Gently massage the cream in small circular motions around the face and neck area. Rinse with cool water and pat dry. Your skin will look almost as good as an expensive spa treatment.

Tip #2 - Extend existing foundation:-

Instead of using foundation straight out of the bottle, mix it with moisturizer. That way you take care of two birds with one stone. You continue to moisturize the skin - the most important treatment of all - and still add a touch of healthy-looking color. You may want to play with the mixture to get the ratio the way you want it; however, two parts moisturizer to one part foundation works well for most women.

Tip #3 – Shape up those brows:-

If you can’t afford anything to play up your beautiful eyes, this is one trick that works every time. After all, the brows frame your face and should always be in picture-perfect condition.

Tip #4 – Ditch those under-eye bags and dark circles:-

Instead of throwing away tea bags after you brew your morning tea, put them in a zipper bag and place them in the refrigerator. When those nasty eye puffiness comes calling, lay down for about 10 minutes with the cool damp tea bags on your eyes. Tannin, one of tea’s main ingredients, works naturally to reduce puffiness and dark circles.

Tip #5 – Add natural highlights to your hair:-

If you can’t afford hair color, try highlighting instead, done the natural way. Mix one part lemon juice with three parts water. Put the mixture into a spray bottle and spray onto the hair, or paint on highlights using pure lemon juice and a small paintbrush. Then blow-dry or let your hair dry naturally in the sun. Be sure to condition it afterwards to keep hair from becoming too brittle.

Tip # 6 – Shine up that hair:-

When expensive hair care products no longer fit into the budget, turn to your kitchen pantry. Any number of items from coconut milk, to honey or even vinegar, will add vibrancy and shine when used during a hair rinse. A few drops of glycerine or olive oil applied directly to freshly washed and dried hair will also do the trick.

Tip # 7 – Make your own lip tint:-

Not only is this home product easy to apply, it will last a lot longer than many lipsticks and colors on the market today. Just choose your favorite gelatin color. Dampen a foam tipped applicator with water then into the powder. Apply the color directly to the lips. Add more than one coat to deepen the tone, if desired. For shine, add a touch of glycerin or lip balm on top.

Tip # 8 – Make your own blush:-

Mix one cup of strawberries, raspberries, or cherries with a teaspoon of glycerin or liquid vitamin E. Blend thoroughly in blender. Mix a small amount of the berry mixture into your loose face powder to create a smooth creamy blush that will brighten any complexion. Add more berries if a deeper color is desired.

Tip # 9 – Rejuvenate skin with a natural toner:-

Cucumber does wonders for the skin whether you use it directly or just throw in your morning facial bath. Because the vegetable has amazing hydrating properties, it will give your skin the same youthful, beautiful glow as your favorite, more expensive, facial cream.

Tip # 10 – Exercise and eat properly:-

No one wants to hear it, but it’s true. Exercise and a proper diet is the best medicine for the body’s overall health. That even includes the complexion. The most beautiful women in the world glow from the inside out and that only comes from taking care of their bodies.

    Fashion on a budget

There's a lot you can do with your clothes without spending money

Fashion should be fun while making a statement about who you are as an individual. In this day and age however, times are tough and people everywhere are conserving their resources - and when money is tight, luxury flies out the window and women look for ways to get the most out of the fashion using what they already have to hand. Here are some of my favorite ways to accomplish just that.

    Tip #1 - Repurpose:-

Just because a particular style becomes passé, that doesn't necessarily mean one should throw away a perfectly good clothing item. Instead, look for ways to repurpose them. For example, if you no longer enjoy wearing that long tunic top, shorten it instead of throwing it away - almost anyone can do a hem slipstitch and it only takes minutes. Best of all, you can tailor it to the specific length you want rather than settling for the designer's original plan. You can even shorten the sleeves, remove the collar, or change out the closing mechanism if you want to create a totally new look. Add some embellishment like a touch of lace, a few well placed beads or sequins or embroidery. Get creative and have fun creating your own unique look.
If you are dying for a pair of skinny jeans but can't afford the $100 plus price tag, you may still be able to have your cake and eat it too. Take a pair of jeans from your closet to a tailor for a refit. Any seamstress worth her salt can make those jeans as tight as you want them. It will still cost you some money but it will be a fraction of the cost of a brand new pair. If you desire, you can even have them embellished, dyed, or carefully ripped to meet the standards of current style. Your imagination is your only limitation and who knows, you just might start a new trend.

    Tip #2 - Accessorize:-

If you aren't particularly creative and you can't afford a tailor, you can still change up the look of your old clothing by adding the right accessories. Put on a vest and create a whole new look. Belt in a voluminous top to show off your small waist. Tie a scarf around your neck or waist to add drama to a humdrum fashion piece. Layer on the necklaces using different textures, colors, and materials. Add a brooch or two in an unexpected place like a sleeve or at the shoulder or waist. Add a silk flower corsage at the neck. The possibilities are almost endless.

    Tip #3 - Rethink:-

When clothing gets stained or damaged, often the first instinct is to throw it away. Why? It's because we don't think about different ways of utilizing it. If a stain won't come out, then hide it. Dye the item a new color or hand paint your own design using craft fabric paint. Add some cute iron-on patches or make your own from fabric and hand stitch them on. Glue on a few well-placed jewels or sew on some decorative braid or lace. Many of these same techniques can also be used to cover up a hole or cut in the fabric.

    Tip #4 - Redo:-

Mix and match fabric designs, colors, and textures to create something totally different. Use the left front side of one blouse and marry it with the right front of another. You can do the same with sleeves. Sew just the front part of a vest onto an existing blouse. Make patches out of one pair of jeans and add them to another for the popular multi-shades of denim look. Scale down clothing to fit someone smaller than you or use it to make clothes for dolls. Cut the fabric into creative designs that can be added to scrapbooks, quilts, throw pillows and more.
My grandmother taught me at an early age that you never throw away perfectly good fabric. Many of the dresses she made me as a child came from articles of clothing that she no longer wanted to wear. Consequently, I had beautiful lace petticoats, luxurious satin gowns, and adorable hand quilted skirts. I still have a handkerchief my grandmother made for me out of her own wedding gown. I carried it on my wedding day and my daughter did the same. Who knows, maybe my granddaughter will carry on the tradition.

Tip #5 - Give it away:-

Just because you won't wear the clothing item anymore, that doesn't mean someone else wouldn't. We are all guilty of throwing away perfectly good fashion pieces simply because we no longer want them, they are slightly out of style or the color is passé. However, there are people everywhere who would consider our castoffs a small blessing, and this is especially true of warmer clothing items like sweaters and coats. Many dry-cleaners will clean the items for free if you agree to donate them to their favorite charity. All it takes is a moment of time to bring some happiness to someone else.

How to look fashionable on a tight budget

You already have the clothes you can't afford to buy!

When you don't have a lot of disposable income, luxury items like fashion and cosmetics often fall by the wayside.
After all, it is hard to justify buying a new outfit when you can barely afford the gas to get to and from work.
Yet it is when the going gets tough that women feel a need to look their very best - it is an issue of morale!
Even we don't have the money to splurge on ourselves, we still put our best foot forward - we simply need to look at our existing assets in a different way.
Most women I know already possess everything they could possibly need inside their closets and drawers, but half of it has been forgotten or pushed out of the way.
Now is the time to get clever and creative and find new ways of using everything we already own.
When it comes to fashion, start with the basics. Pull everything out of your closet that fits into any classic wardrobe. These would include pieces like the following:
    • A properly fitted bra
    • A body slimming shaper
    • A little black dress (LBD)
    • A well cut blazer
    • A crisp white button down shirt
    • A pair of good fitting jeans
    • A pair of neutral colored trousers (preferably black)
    • A neutral colored t-shirt (preferably white)
    • A knee skimming skirt
    • A trench coat
    • A winter coat (if needed)
    • A neutral colored well-made handbag
With nothing else in your closet but these few pieces and a few well-chosen accessories, you can look chic any time of the day or night. However, most women will also find the following:
    • One or more suits
    • Additional dress and casual shirts and tees
    • Different styles of pants and jeans
    • One or more A-line or pencil skirts
    • A few other jackets and blazers
    • A party dress
    • One or more colorful scarves and/or wraps
    • Leather or chain belts
    • Hats
    • Gloves
Go through those extra items, pulling out anything that is outdated, out of season or no longer fits. Set the pieces aside, donate them to charity, or store them apart from this year's fare. Then start playing a game of mix and match, putting items together in ways you have never worn them before. For example, it you have always worn that LBD without a jacket, try pairing it with a blazer for a completely new look. Break up that suit, pairing the skirt alone with a shirt or tee and the jacket with your perfect fitting jeans. You will quickly discover clever combinations that will expand your wardrobe significantly.
Next, pull out your jewelry. Look for classic pieces that never go out of style like the following:
    • A strand of pearls (18" or preferably longer)
    • Stud, hoop, or door knocker earrings in gold or silver
    • Gold and silver neck chains
    • A tennis bracelet
    • A coordinating watch
If you have them, add in a few bangles or cuffs, pendants that fit your neck chains or slip over your pearls, one or more brooches or pins (like a cameo or initial piece), and a few basic rings. Put away, sell, donate, trade or discard those pieces that are too trendy in nature. Wearing them will only call attention to your inability to make new purchases.
Then think about different ways of wearing the jewelry items you have kept. Put your pearls on with other gemstones and metal pieces. Pile different bangles or cuffs together. Mix gold and silver pieces together. Think way outside of the box, trying each new combination with an outfit you've already designed in the first step.
If after all of that you still aren't happy with what you have to wear, there are other options to explore. Put together a swap meet with your friends that wear the same size. Each of you brings in those pieces you no longer want and trade them for others that you desire. This presents a way to multiply your wardrobe significantly without spending a cent.
Another option is to trade existing clothing items with local consignment (UK: second-hand) shops. Today, many such shops allow trading in order to broaden their product base. If that isn't allowed, think about consigning those unwanted pieces. Once someone else buys them, you can use the money to purchase new items without making a single dent in your everyday budget.
Being fashionable doesn't have to cost a fortune. All it takes is a bit of patience, some creativity and a willingness to look at things from a fresh point of view. Any woman can do that, even me!

Most Expensive Watches in the World

Most Expensive Watches in the World

When it comes to fashion, certain items have fetched completely outrageous prices. $10,000 jackets and $500,000 suits simply do not compete with some of the most expensive (and some of the gaudiest) time pieces ever created. The price tags on this particular list aren’t for the easily disgusted or the faint of heart. Not a single one will be less than one million dollars – that’s the cheapest of the cheap.
The most expensive watch in the world is currently worth $25 million. No that’s not a typo… you read that right. This particular piece of millionaire fashion made by Chopard is a simple watch (as simple as a multi-million dollar time piece can be) whose face is almost lost among the plethora of diamonds that stud, coat, and ultimately encrust this ridiculous accessory. The gems three heart shaped pink diamonds weigh in at fifteen carats, a 12 carat blue diamond, and an 11 carat white diamond. The watch is also coated in an additional 163 carats worth of white and yellow diamonds, bringing the total carats up to 201. In the words of one Internet author, this watch looks like an inside out geode. Fashionable, no. Amazing… yes.

Trailing a good way behind this massively valued monstrosity is a timepiece made by Patek Philippe called the Supercomplication. This is an actual pocket watch that was made in 1932 for the banker Henry Graves Jr. The Supercomplication was actually the deciding factor in a competition that Graves had going with automobile engineer James Ward Packard as to which of them could possess the most complicated pocket watch. The Supercomplication won the contest, and it’s number of functions wasn’t surpassed until 50 years later by a pocket watch that had over 33 different functions. As a piece of history, and a supreme example of over complication, this pocket watch sold at auction for $11 million dollars.
Another watch designed by Patek Philippe (which is a watch company in Geneva) weighs in at over $4 million. This was a wrist watch that was sold in 2002 called the Platinum World Time. There was only one of this watch ever made, and it lives up to the name it was given, possessing a clock face that shows all of the time zones around the world – in addition to the current time. Made with the Geneva company’s usual efficiency and style, the Platinum World Time is just as much a unique piece of art as it is an overpriced, yet snazzy wrist watch.
And last for this list is a $1.5 million watch, a regular steal compared to these other heavy hitters. The maker is Vacheron Constantin, who marked it’s 250th anniversary with a watch called the Tour de l’Ile. This particular time piece required over 10,000 hours of research, and it boasts a number of functions beyond simply telling the wearer the time of day. The watch boasts features such as a minute repeater, sunset time, an ongoing calendar, and a number of other functions which, while not necessary, at least begin to justify the price tag. There were 7 of watches made in dedication of the anniversary, so they’re not completely unique, but they are among a very select list.

    Herbal Treatments for Healthy Hair

    Herbal Treatments for Healthy Hair:-

Hair care is an expensive task. Between the cost of shampoos, conditioners, styling products and also health restorers, it makes sense that more consumers are looking to homemade herbal treatments for healthy hair maintenance.
While the Internet is filled with interesting and sometimes odd concoctions, there are a couple of herbal treatments that are time-tested and more likely to yield good results.
Prior to starting any herbal treatments for healthy hair, determine exactly what the hair’s – and also the scalp’s – actual needs are. Perhaps the skin on the head is dry and itchy or the hair appears dull and lifeless.
There is a good chance that the daily use of styling aids weighs down the tresses even as it attempts to keep a hairdo in place.
Herbal treatments, when done consistently, can prevent the ill effects of everyday styling on the scalp and hair.

                Nettle Rinse:-
Perhaps the most famous among the herbal treatments for healthy hair is the use of a nettle hair rinse.
This rinse is available for sale at natural beauty supply stores, health food outlets with an extensive personal grooming products section and of course the Internet.
Another great way of obtaining a nettle hair rinse is to make it at home. Pick – or buy – nettle tops and boil them in two cups of water.
Turn the heat down to simmer and add a third cup of lukewarm water.
Let the mix stand until it reaches room temperature and then gently massage it into the scalp and hair.
The result is an invigorated head of hair. The tresses are shiny and soft.
This nettle rinse is actually a lot easier on the head and pocket book than a number of available products, which promise to infuse the hair with shine.

    Herbal Hot Oil Treatment:-
Herbal treatments for healthy hair also involve the use of hot oil.
The base for this treatment is actually lukewarm olive oil that is spiked with lavender and perhaps also sandalwood oil.
The goal is an overall relaxation of the scalp as well as damage repair for the hair, especially if there are split ends that were only recently cut out. Wet down the hair and towel-dry it.
The hair should not be wet but only damp. Massage in the lukewarm oil mix.
This herbal treatment for healthy hair in the form of a hot oil application should stay on the locks for about 15 to 30 minutes.
Amplify the soothing nature of the treatment by putting on a disposable plastic shower cap and placing a warmed towel over the head.
Keep the head and hair warm! When the time is up, rinse out the oil and shampoo with a gentle baby wash.

Mistakes to Avoid When Using Herbal Treatments for Healthy Hair:-
Overheating the concoctions is a common error that might not only damage fragile herbal essences but also the very scalp and hair these treatments are meant to benefit.
    For example, a hot oil treatment that is too warm does not actually soothe but irritates the scalp;
this in turn leads to an increase in the natural shedding of dead skin flakes.
Appearing as dandruff, additional treatments may then also be administered – once again too hot.
The cycle continues on until the consumer stops herbal use completely.
Avoid falling into this trap by using common sense approaches whenever dealing with herbal essences and oils.

Sleeping for at least 8 hours every night will help your skin renew itself. It will also keep you from getting dark circles under your eyes.

How you treat your skin when you’re in your twenties will have effects for many years to come. If you’re good to your skin now, it will be good to you as you age.
